My Tech Stack
I build with intention. Figma for high-fidelity, interactive UI design. Adobe for design exploration, Miro for collaboration. Each tool supports how I think and design.

Figma
My go-to for UI UX design - perfect for wireframing, prototyping, and collaborating in real time.

Adobe Creative Suite
Explore ideas and shape thoughtful UX outcomes. It plays a key role in turning user needs into well‑crafted designs.

Miro
Shapes my UX design practice by enabling easy collaboration, letting ideas evolve quickly through shared thinking and real‑time feedback.

UserTesting
Collaborating with UserTesting—and the people behind it—has helped ground my design decisions in real user insight, making my work more confident and impactful.

UX Pilot
Usage of AI in my design work has helped me explore ideas faster, validate decisions earlier, and create more considered UX outcomes.

Design with Strategy and Creativity
"Have some empathy for the people you are designing for"
While every project is different, they should still follow the same basic design process - to understand users, and redefine problems to create innovative solutions.
01.
Research & Strategy
The first step is discovering general business needs and for the project, understanding what is being delivered, the timeline and the expectations. Next, empathy is crucial to a human-centred design process, so I gain an empathetic understanding of the problem that is being solved, usually through user research. This allows the team and I to set aside our own assumptions, and gain real insight.

02.
Define the user problems
I then interpret the results gathered during the Empathise stage. Analysing the observations and synthesising them to define the core problems identified. I then like to look at these problem statements in a more human-centric manner by creating user-personas and user-journeys maps to help in understanding, before proceeding to ideate the solutions in the design process.

03.
Ideate over possible solutions
In continuing the project, ideating a solution to the problem statement will involve brainstorming and creative exploration to generate a wide array of possible solutions for the given problem. It encourages diverse perspectives and aims to create an innovative pool of ideas from which the best ones can be refined. This allows the team to come together to explore different options.

04.
Prototyping the solution
I created simplified versions of ideas to test and refine them. These tangible representations help gather user feedback and bridge the gap between concepts and real-world solutions, fostering innovation and user-centred design. This step may involve creating high-fidelity prototypes or even an interactive website. Here I utilise my skills in Figma, Azure RP, and Adobe.

Test, iterate, and test again
This is the final phase of my design process. Rigorously testing the prototypes is the best way to discover the accuracy of the user research and how well the target audience responds. This stage helps to make further iterations, alterations and refinements – to find or rule out alternative solutions for a digital product the meets the user needs perfectly.
